Srinagar, June 19: Terrorists on Monday evening attacked Army patrol party in Pulwama district, Jammu and Kashmir. As of now, the number of terrorists are unknown. The army, since the attack, has been retaliating strongly and in the retaliatory firing one civilian received injuries. The injured was immediately provided medical treatment.
The entire nearby area has been cordoned off. More details are awaited in this case.
As per the cops, Altaf Ahmad Zargar was injured in the cross-firing with militants. The locals have told Greater Kashmir that stone pelting did not take place.
On Saturday, as per a Times Now report, one civilian again in the district of Pulwama. Young Aijaz Malik was critically injured outside his residence at around 10.30 pm by terrorists. On June 17, terrorists opened fire at CRPF’s camp in the valley in Bijbehara area of Anantnag. Hera army troops were also stationed. The camp, Zee News reported, is near Jammu-Srinagar highway.
