New Delhi, August 19: Janata Dal (United) on Saturday decided to not take any disciplinary action against dissident leader Sharad Yadav despite his “anti-party” activities. Party leader KC Tyagi made the announcement after party’s national executive meeting in Patna.

Meanwhile, Sharad Yadav was also in the city to address people in Jan Adalat program. He said that power was given to JD(U) for 5 years.

Sharad Yadav and Nitish Kumar come from the same school of thought and had been associated for a long time. However, Nitish Kumar taking support from the BJP to form a government didn’t go down well with Sharad Yadav. Sharad Yadav has not been dismissed from the party nor he has resigned. But, the commentary from rival factions apparently leaves no room for reconciliation.
