Lance Naik Hanumanthappa's wife's last wish will move you to tears!

New Delhi, Feb 11: After his fight with extreme conditions, Lance Naik Hanumanthappa passed away on Thursday morning at 11: 45 AM attaining martyrdom. Hanumanthappa hails from Koppal in Karnataka and is left behind by his family that includes his wife and daughter. His wife is in deep shock as the family had expected him to regain consciousness and get back to his normal life. However, it seems that life had something else in pack for him. Hanumanthappa and nine of his colleagues were hit by an avalanche while they were posted in Siachen.

Talking about his sad demise, Hanumanthappa’s wife said, “Dear God, the next time you want to take a life, please take mine. Let my husband live to protect the country, he should survive.” His mother also hoped that her brave son would survive this grave test too after being rescued from 25 feet snow.
