    Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday reached Vadnagar, his birthplace, in Gujarat.

New Delhi, Oct 8: It is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s second day in Gujarat today. During the day, he is scheduled to visit his birthplace Vadnagar which has been decked up with lights, cut outs of the PM and images of chai cups. This will be PM’s first visit to his birthplace after he was sworn-in as the Prime Minister of India in 2014. On Sunday, the Indian Air Force will also celebrate its 85th anniversary. On the occasion, the Akash Ganga and SKAT teams, along with others, will display aerobatic show at Hindon Air Base in Ghaziabad.

On the world front, deadly hurricane Nate is approaching towards US Gulf Coast after battering Central America and leaving over 30 dead there. Earlier on Saturday, at least 11 persons were left injured as a car rammed into pedestrians outside London‘s Natural History Museum.
