New Delhi, Oct 24: The day October 24 will witness top fighter jets and a couple of transport aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) conducting a major touchdown exercise on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway. The show will have 20 planes including the deep penetration strike aircraft Jaguar, multi-role fighter Mirage 2000, IAF’s most potent air superiority fighter SU-30MKI, transport aircraft AN-32 and C-130J Super Hercules.
In other reports, as many as 14 Muslim organisations will participate in a march from Park Circus to the Myanmar consulate beginning at 12 noon. Some Muslim organisations taking part in the march include – Bangiyo Imam Parishad, Jati Jagran Manch, Bhasa-o-Chetna Samity, Sankhyalaghu Parishad and others. Police are likely to put up barricades at the Rani Rashmoni Avenue for safety reasons.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will attend the 56th Raising Day Parade of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) on October 24 at 39th Bn, ITBP, Lakhnawali Camp, Surajpur, Greater Noida 10:00 AM on Tuesday morning.
The day will also see a visit from the US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson to New Delhi. Tillerson’s three-day (Oct 24-26) visit will underline the Trump administration’s strategy to make India the centrepiece of Washington’s South Asia policy. Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani will also arrive in Delhi today. He is expected to meet PM Narendra Modi, President Kovind, and EAM Sushma Swaraj.

The total revenue of GST paid under different heads (upto 23rd October 2017) for the month of September 2017 is Rs. 92,150/- crore, said the Finance Ministry. The total CGST revenue is Rs. 14,042 crore, SGST revenue is Rs. 21,172 crore, IGST revenue is Rs. 48,948 crore (of which IGST from imports in September 2017 is Rs. 23,951 crore) and Compensation Cess is Rs. 7,988/- crore (of which Rs. 722 crore is Compensation Cess from imports in September 2017).
