New Delhi, March 31: Three people killed and two were injured after a four-storey building collapsed near Sarwate bus stand in Indore on Saturday. The incident occurred at around 9: 30 PM. Over two-dozen people were feared trapped in the debris, media reported.

Police and fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot. If reports are to be believed, the area hosts a major bus stand and has a number of eateries which were full of people.

The reason for its sudden collapse is not clear, police said, adding that rescue work is underway. More details awaited.

The mishap came nearly a month after a two-storey building was collapsed in Madhya Pradesh’s Shajapur district.
