New Delhi, April 16: A major fire broke out at a godown in Shil Phata of Thane in Maharashtra on Monday. Fire tenders are rushed to the spot, and efforts are on to douse the fire. There have been no reports of any casualty or injury till now. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

The fire broke out at afternoon and more details are awaited in the incident.

Recently, fire also broke out in a building in Mumbai’s Pydhonie. The fire broke out on the second and third floor of a building in south Mumbai’s Pydhonie area. At least 14 fire engines and 10 water tankers were rushed to the spot to douse the blaze. On March 25, at least one person was killed and seven others were injured in a fire in a slum area near Rajiv Gandhi Nagar in east Mumbai’s Chembur.
