As per a Times of India report published on August 18, Sena sought ballot voting and not through Electronic Voting Machine (EVMs). Uddhav on use of EVM said it a mystery as one has no idea in which kitty the vote of a person has landed once the EVM button is pressed and with the use of ballot paper the Sena chief believed it would put aside fears of the machine being hacked.
Sena chief, without taking the name of BJP had hinted that his party does not indulge in cash for vote politics.
