Delhi MCD Elections 2017 Voter Slip: How to check your name in Voter list for EDMC, NDMC and SDMC

The MCD Elections is a three-way contest between the AAP, Congress and incumbent Bharatiya Janata Party.

New Delhi: Polling for Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) will be held on April 23. A total of 2537 candidates from 19 political parties and independents are in the fray for 272 wards. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will try to repeat its victory in 2017 once again whereas Aam Aadmi Party and Congress will fight to regain their losing grip. A registered voter will need to carry his/her voter slip and voter ID to the polling booths to exercise his/her franchise in the MCD Elections 2017.

How to check your name in Voter List: 

  • Visit the official website of Delhi government www.delhi.gov.in
  • Then go to the third option and click Check your name in the Voters’ List (Electoral roll)
  • You will get two options: (a) Check your name in Voter List by Voter’s Name (b) Check your name in Voter List by Voter ID No

Check your name in Voter list by Voter’s Name: 

  • Select your district number and name. For e.g if your district name is New Delhi then select New Delhi followed by district number.
  • Then select your Assembly constituency number and name
  • Write your name as per your Voter ID card
  • Give your Father’s/Mother’s/Husband’s name details
  • Write your house number in the given box
  • Mention Voters’ photo identity card no.
  • Enter the given verification/captcha code
  • At last, after giving all the details, click on search button

  • Mention Voters’ photo identity card number accurately
  • Enter the verification/captcha code given on the website
  • Then Click search and you will find your name on the list.

The MCD Elections is a three-way contest between the AAP, Congress and incumbent Bharatiya Janata Party. The other parties contesting the elections are Yogendra Yadav-led Swaraj India, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Samajwadi Party (SP) and Nitish Kumar-led JD(U).  The result would be declared on April 26.
