Missing Snapdeal employee Dipti Sarna found in Haryana

Panipat, Haryana, Feb 12: Dipti Sarna, the Snapdeal executive who went missing on Wednesday has been found in Panipat in Haryana today morning. She spoke to her parents and is back with them. Sarna was reportedly kidnapped in Ghaziabad while she was on her way home from Gurgaon.

The IT professional had taken a auto rickshaw to a bus-stand in Ghaziabad to where her family resides. While she was about to reach her house, the auto driver took a wrong turn and fled away with her. Sarna who was talking to one of her friends on phone heard her screamn which left the friend panic-stricken. Uttar Pradesh government’s Twitter read, “Ms.Dipti spoke to her parents; soon to join them; we are eagerly awaiting for her return- Sh.Dharmendra,SSP, GZB.” However, it is not sure how the 25-year-old reached Panipat on her way to Delhi.

Snapdeal founder, Kunal Bahl has said that organisation is working with the police to find her.A NDTV Report quoted the company, “We are extremely disturbed with the reported abduction of our team member. Her security and safety is our topmost priority.” Snapdeal on Thursday also launched #HelpFindDipti to find their employee that became top trend on Twitter.
