Mumbai, July 16: The Mumbai trains will have a mega block on all the three lines on Sunday, July 16. The main Central line and Harbour line trains will have a long-hour mega block. On the Central railway line, the down slow trains leaving Ghatkopar from 10.56 am to 4.33 pm will be diverted on down fast line between Vikhroli and Diva stations. These trains will halt at Vikhroli, Bhandup, Mulund and Thane stations. Further, they will be re-diverted to down slow line again at Diva station. These trains will not halt at Kanjurmarg, Nahur, Kalva and Mumbra stations. Passengers from these stations are allowed to travel via Vikhroli/Bhandup/Mulund/Thane/Diva during the block period.

The mega block on the Up fast trains leaving from Kaylan will start at 11.22 am and end at 4.02 pm. These trains will take a halt at Diva, Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli and Ghatkopar stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts. The trains will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule. The down fast trains leaving CSMT (Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus) from 10.48 am to 2.54 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup, Mulund and Diva stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive destination 20 minutes behind schedule. The slow trains leaving from CSMT will arrive destination 10 minutes late between 11.00 am to 5.00 pm.

On the Harbour railway line, the trains leaving from CSMT to Panvel/Belapur/Vashi will remain suspended between 10.35 am to 3.37 pm. Similarly, the Up train services leaving from Panvel/Belapur/Vashi to CSMT will be suspended from 10.20 am to 3.48 pm. During this mega block period, special train services will run on CSMT to Kurla stations and Vashi to Panvel stations. Harbour line passengers can travel from Trans-Harbour or Main Line trains between 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.

The Western railway line will have a Jumbo block on the Up and Down slow lines between Borivali and Andheri stations. The block will be carried out between 10.35 pm to 15.35 pm. The Jumbo block is carried out for the maintenance of tracks signalling and overhead equipment. Between the Borivali and Andheri stations, all Up and Down slow line trains will run on Up and Down fast lines, during the block. Some Up and Down trains will remain cancelled because of the block. At the time of block, from Borivali’s platform No.1, 2, 3 and 4, no train will be dealt. Trains will not halt at Ram Mandir station in Up and Down directions during the block.
