Muslim man leaves Namaz to save cow: Watch video & get over Dadri lynching incident

Lucknow, October 4: Setting an example of mutual tolerance, a Muslim boy in Lucknow left Namaz (prayer) to save a cow. According to reports, the 20-year-old Mohammed Zaki, a resident of Bharat Bhakkan Mill in Aishbagh, jumped into a well to save a cow who fell into the well occidentally. “I saw a large number of people gathered around the open well looking at a cow that had fallen in and I volunteered to go down to save it,” Mohammed Zaki was quoted as saying by the India Times. It is being said that Zaki was going for Namaz when he the cow stuck in the well. The video has gone viral in which Zaki is seen saving the cow.

Amid the politics over the murder of a man at Dadri following rumours that his family was eating beef, Zaki’s great service is an answer to communal powers in the country. While the Dadri lynching left the country in shame, the above incident gives a ray of hope that India won’t go so easily into the hands of communal forces.
