New Delhi, Mar 26: In a first after Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) managed a thumping majority in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand Assembly Elections 2017 and coalition governments in Goa and Manipur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation through his monthly radio programme, entitled ‘Mann Ki Baat’ today around 11 am on All India Radio and Doordarshan. We are running live updates on the same, stay with india.com.

Narendra Modi is likely to touch upon a lot of issues and promises the party had made before elections. He is also likely to talk about the party’s victory in Uttar Pradesh and vow to keep the promises the leaders made before the elections. This will be Modi’s 30th Mann Ki Baat episode. Before the program, Narendra Modi, as usual, invited suggestions and and comments from citizens which he incorporates in his monthly broadcast.

Immediately after the Hindi broadcast, Akashvani will broadcast the programme in regional languages. In the last Mann Ki Baat, Modi had congratulated ISRO for successfully launching 104 satellites on a single rocket. “After the success of Mangalyaan, the 104 satellite launch on a single rocket is another feather in ISRO’s cap… I congratulate them on behalf of countrymen,” he said.

“The spirit of enquiry has played a major role in scientific and human development. It is a never ending quest. I have often stressed upon the importance of scientific temper among youth. Our country needs more scientists,” Prime Minister Modi had said.

There will be a repeat broadcast of the same at 8 PM. The youtube channels of the ministry of information and broadcasting, the Prime Minister’s Office and All India Radio will also be broadcasting the show live. Also, you can give missed calls on 1922 to hear the Mann Ki Baat episode on mobile phones.
