New Delhi, Oct 13: Nupur Talwar, mother of Aarushi Talwar, said she will search for killers of her daughter after walking out of jail. Nupur Talwar said she will continue to fight for justice for her daughter Aarushi, reported Zee News. The Allahabad High Court on Thursday acquitted dentist couple Rajesh and Nupur Talwar in the murder of their teenaged daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj.

Nupur Talwar, while speaking to jail administration, said she wants to see killers of her daughter Aarushi behind bars. She vowed to continue the fight for Aarushi after walking out of jail. Nupur Talwar and her husband Rajesh Talwar, who had been serving life sentence since conviction by a special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court in November 2013, will be released from Ghaziabad’s Dasna jail today.

A bench of Justice B.K. Narayana and Justice A.K. Mishra acquitted Rajesh Talwar and Nupur Talwar for the murder of 14-year-old Aarushi Talwar at her Jalvayu Vihar home. Aarushi Talwar was found dead inside the bedroom of her residence in Noida in May 2008.

After a Special CBI Court in Ghaziabad convicted them for the murders in 2013 and handed them life terms, the Talwars appealed in the Allahabad High Court against the verdict. The Talwars were lodged in Dasna jail in Ghaziabad district ever since their 2013 conviction.

The Talwar couple, who have been describing their portrayal in the media as a witch-hunt, were accused of killing their daughter after they saw her in a compromising position with Hemraj. The allegation was first made by Uttar Pradesh Police and later repeated by the CBI but there was no evidence to substantiate the premise.
