New Delhi, August 13: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his last ‘Mann Ki Baat’ address on July 30, appealed to people of the country to send their ideas for his Independence Day Speech from the ramparts of Red Fort.

The Prime Minister had said, “When I address the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort on 15th August, I am merely the medium. The voice is of 125 crore Indians. Share your ideas for the speech on 15th August, on the specially created open forum on the Narendra Modi App”

To submit your suggestions, follow these steps

Step 1: Go to https://www.mygov.in/ 

Step 2: Go to the window Mann Ki Baat

Step 3: On the left corner, You will find ‘Trending’ link with Suggestions for Independence Day Speech

Step 4: Click the link and Submit your ideas and suggestions.

In his programme, PM Modi said, “My dear countrymen, on August 15, as the nation’s ‘Pradhan Sewak’, I get an opportunity to communicate with the country from the ramparts of the Red Fort. I am merely an instrument. It is not one single person who makes that address, but it is the collective voice of 1.25 Billion of my countrymen that resound from the Red Fort. I try to give words to their dreams, and I am glad that for the past 3 years, I get suggestions from every corner of the country for August 15, as to what I should speak on the 15th August and which issues should I include in my address on the occasion.
