Amritsar, Sept 20: Two Pakistani intruders were killed on Wednesday by the Border Security Force (BSF) troops as an infiltration bid was foiled across the International Boundary in Ajnala sector near Amritsar district of Punjab. As per latest reports, 4 kg heroin, one AK 47 rifle, 23 rounds (7.62 mm) AK magazine, four rounds of 9 mm pistol magazine and mobile phone with Pakistan SIM have been recovered from the slain intruders.

Noteworthy, the intruders were also carrying Pakistani currency worth Rs 20,000 as well. More details are awaited on the incident.

Earlier on May 15, an intruder from Pakistan was shot dead by the Border Security Force (BSF) in Bariyala in Gurdaspur Sector. The BSF personnel came into action after spotting some suspicious movement near the fence along the India-Pakistan border. An official informed that the area where the incident had taken place is surrounded by the Ravi River from three sides.
