New Delhi, Dec 7: Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi has posted his ninth question for Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his series of 22 questions ahead of Gujarat Assembly Elections 2017. In his series ’22 saalon ka hisaab, Gujarat maange jawaab’ on Twitter, Rahul Gandhi has today questioned the Prime Minister over farmer policies and their implementation. He has asked the Prime Minister about what happened to the promises made to farmers.
“न की कर्ज़ माफ़ी न दिया फसल का सही दाम, मिली नहीं फसल बीमा राशि न हुआ ट्यूबवेल का इंतजाम, खेती पर गब्बर सिंह की मार, छीनी जमीन, अन्नदाता को किया बेकार PM साहब बतायें, खेडुत के साथ क्यों इतना सौतेला व्यवहार? (Loans haven’t been waived, the proper price of crop hasn’t been given. Crop insurance hasn’t been granted, tubewells haven’t been arranged. GST has hit agriculture, it has ruined the farmer, who gives us food. PM Sir, why this stepmotherly treatment to farmers),” Gandhi asked Modi.
On Wednesday, in his eighth question, Gandhi asked Modi about the deteriorating healthcare facilities, infant mortality, malnourishment levels. He also accused the PM of ‘gifting government hospital to a friend’.
In his tweet, he claimed that 39 per cent children are suffering due to malnourishment and the rate of infant mortality is also too high. The Congress V-P attacked the Prime Minister over lack of doctors and high price for the treatment at hospitals. Hardening his attack, he took a dig at the PM for ‘gifting a government hospital to his friend’ for 99 years even when the state is experiencing such dip in the healthcare facilities.
Rahul Gandhi has questioned Modi on a series of issues including price rise, demonetisation, GST in his one question a day series on Twitter.
The two-phase Gujarat elections will take place on December 9 and 14. The counting of votes will take place on December 18.
