New Delhi, Dec 9: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi has made startling claims about his potential speech in Parliament today on demonetisation. Rahul Gandhi has promised to tear the Government apart, if he gets the chance to speak on demonetisation in Lok Sabha. Addressing the media after Lok Sabha was briefly adjourned on Friday, Rahul accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of running away from the Parliament, fearing to answer the questions raised by Opposition.

Rahul Gandhi promised ‘earthquake’ in the Parliament if the debate gets conducted. “Government running from debate,if they allow me to speak then you will see what an earthquake will come,” he said, further adding that Prime Minister Modi is trying to dodge the issue since the past one month.

Rahul Gandhi described demonetisation as the biggest scam in the history of independent India. He urged PM Modi to remain present in the House and answer the questions which would be raised in the debate, further adding that the Government would be completely exposed in the near future.

“Prime Minister is running across the nation, giving speeches on demonetisation. But he is afraid to turn up in the Lok Sabha. Why is he afraid? Since a month we’ve been trying debate on demonetisation,” Rahul added.

BJP struck back at Rahul Gandhi, saying he is know for ‘quackery’ and not ‘quakes’. Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu asked Rahul to recall the scams during UPA regime before labelling demonetisation as a ‘scam’. “In your era the 2G, 3G, Coalgate, AgustaWestland and many other scams which plundered the exchequer.”
