New Delhi, Oct 12: Rajesh Talwar and Nupur Talwar, the parents of Aarushi Talwar, who was murdered along with their domestic help Hemraj in 2008, are likely to walk out of the Dasna jail by Friday. Tanveer Ahmed Mir, the lawyer of the Talwar couple, said that the two may come out of jail tomorrow afternoon. The Allahabad High Court on Thursday acquitted Rajesh and Nupur Talwar in the Aarushi-Hemraj murder case, 4 years after a Ghaziabad court had convicted them.

As per procedures, the acquitted are released from jail once the court order copy reaches the prison authorities. Reports say that the copy of the Allahabad HC order is likely to reach Dasna jail authorities by tomorrow, following which Aarushi’s parents Rajesh and Nupur will be released.

Meanwhile, the jail officials said that the two were happy after hearing the verdict. Rajesh and Nupur Talwar watched the Aarushi murder case verdict from a TV placed in their barrack. “Rajesh and Nupur Talwar are happy, and said that they have got justice,” said DR Maurya, Jailor, Dasna Jail.
