New Delhi, March 21: The curtains have been raised from the mystery, finally! There was much speculation about what Mulayam Singh Yadav had whispered in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ears. Now, we have the answer.
Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and his father Mulayam Singh Yadav had met cordially with BJP leaders during Yogi Adityanath’s oath-taking ceremony. The gesture was praised all over and was told to be the beauty of democracy. Mulayam Singh Yadav met Prime Minister Narendra Modi with enthusiasm. He whispered something in Modi’s ear and then called son Akhilesh Yadav. Akhilesh Yadav also shook hands with his political rival. Modi in return patted the young politician on his shoulders.
Now, the real picture has come out. The report by Telegraph India says that Mulayam Singh Yadav urged the Prime Minister to take care of Akhilesh. According to the newspaper, a BJP leader, on the condition of anonymity, said that he also asked Modi to teach politics to Akhilesh. ” Thoda Akhilesh ka khayal rakhiye (Please take care of Akhilesh)” the national daily quoted the BJP leader. ”
” Inko sikhaiye (Teach him please),” Mulayam said further.
“I reckon Mulayam was asking Modi to teach Akhilesh the intricacies of politics,” the BJP source said. “Modi didn’t disappoint Mulayam. He patted Akhilesh on the right shoulder.”
The BJP leader who spilled the beans was reportedly standing close to the leaders and overheard the conversation.
