Bhubaneshwar, September 17: Famous Orissa based  sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi and marked the beginning of the Ganpati festival all in one grand sand art, on Thursday. Pattnaik posted a picture of  his mesmerising art work on his Facebook page. The Prime Minister is celebrating his 65th birthday and his second birthday since his party formed a majority government in a landslide victory in May 2014. The pious Hindu festival of Ganesh Chaturthi also began amidst much fanfare, on Thursday. Also Read: Narendra Modi Birthday special: 12 selfies of our Prime Minister that you should definitely see!

In the art piece marking both the Ganpati festival and the PM’s birthday, Pattnaik had created a dazzling replica of the elephant headed God, along with the face of Modi. The art work also marked the various initiatives and campaigns started by the PM, after he started his tenure, like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign, Clean India Campaign and the Make in India Campaign.

I dedicated my sand art to the honourable @PMOIndia on his birthday, which coincides with Ganesh Chaturthi this year.
