Patna, Apr 5: Tej Pratap Yadav, the elder son of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi, ,in all likelihood, is all set to tie the knot with Aishwarya Rai. Reports say that the marriage ceremony will take place in May 12 whereas, the couple will exchange rings in April itself.

Aishwarya, the would-be-wife of former health minister of Bihar, is the daughter of former minister Chandrika Prasad Rai, and is the eldest among her siblings. She belongs to Chhapra and is the granddaughter of ex-chief minister of state Daroga Prasad Rai.

As reported by Live Cities, the engagement ceremony will be held at Hotel Maurya in Patna on April 18. However, there is no confirmation on the venue of the marriage as of yet.

RJD MLA and spokesman Shakti Singh Yadav has been quoted as saying in a media report that the official announcement about the wedding will be made by the RJD supremo’s family.

Earlier in 2017, during a press conference in Patna, Lalu Prasad and his wife Rabri Devi had declared that they would not take dowry in the marriages of their two sons – Tej Pratap Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav.

“We are completely against dowry system and will not take one paisa from the bride’s family when my two sons are ready to get married,” Lalu had said according to a media report.
