Ujjain: Police brutality caught on camera; cops thrash man after being called to investigate family dispute (Video)

We have police and judiciary which controls the law and order of the country. We feel secure when we have policemen protecting us from goons and miscreants in the time of troubles. But, what would you say and think when you see policemen abusing the common people and thrashing them in public, rather than saving them? Don’t be shocked, it happened in Ujjain district in Madhya Pradesh.

The incident took place when a family called the local police to solve a family dispute. Soon after the police arrived, without understanding the whole issue or investigating the matter, twp policemen started thrashing a man with their lathis first and then started kicking and slapping him brutally — not even giving a chance to breathe properly. The relative of the person too joined the scene and he too started kicking that man mercilessly, like the second was an untouchable or a terrorist. The scene looked much awry when the police separated the relative and then started slapping the man again. They tried to drag him to the road where trucks were standing and by the time the man was not in a situation to take more, the policemen started smiling and then started discussing. So, where is the law and can we expect protection from these policemen? Perhaps Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan have to dig deeper inside to put a cap on these rising issues. Till then you watch the video of police brutality.
