New Delhi, Jan 3: The ABP News Opinion released on Tuesday predicts Samajwadi Party to emerge as the number one electoral outfit in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh. The opinion poll predicts 141-151 seats for SP. BSP is at the second position with 129-138 seats. Mayawati’s BSP has slipped to third spot, projected to win 93-103 seats. Congress is projected to win only 13-19 seats. The elections of the survey has come as a major boost for SP, which was trailing so far behind BJP in pre-poll surveys.
As per opinion poll survey by ABP news, the Samajwadi Party is at number one position in east Uttar Pradesh with 35 per cent voters backing it. The Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) is at the second spot with 30 percent of the vote share. The main vote share as per the opinion survey states 30 per cent vote share for SP, 27 per cent for BJP, 22 per cent for BSP while 8 per cent for Congress.
BSP is at the third position with 18 per cent votes. As per survey predictions, 74% Jatav population likely to support BSP, 34 Percent of OBC voters likely to support BJP whereas 23% are backing Samajwadi Party.
Among the Samajwadi Party voters, 83 per cent of the participants feel Akhilesh Yadav is the best chief ministerial candidate of Samajwadi Party while 28 per cent voters want Akhilesh back as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Mayawati is at the second spot in the survey in terms of CM candidate.
25% people think that Shivpal Yadav is the root of all cause of the family feud while 6% think Akhilesh Yadav is the one who responsible for the truce in the Yadav family. It is a major setback for BSP as 56 per cent of the Dalits are backing the BJP and 16 per cent are backing Samajwadi Party, 13 per cent with BSP, 11 per cent with Congress. In western Uttar Pradesh, BJP at number one position with 37 percent vote share while the Samajwadi Party at the second spot with 16 percent vote share . BSP is at the third position with 12 percent votes.
