Bengaluru, Nov 15: Karnataka Congress MLA Ambareesh has yet again courted controversy by skipping the Assembly session in Belgavi. Ambareesh was seen dancing at a music launch in Bengaluru as he skipped the Assembly session on  Tuesday. A video of him dancing at the music launch is going viral on the Internet.

However, Congress leaders said this shouldn’t be taken too seriously as he is a “different kind of politician”. “Even as Union Minister he didn’t attend minister’s office because of his own reasons, Mandya-Kaveri issue and all. He is emotional and different kind of politician, and different rules apply to him I think. We shouldn’t take it too seriously,” said D Gundu Rao, Karnataka Congress Working President while speaking to ANI.

Congress MLA from Mandya MH Ambareesh has been a regular absentee from the Assembly sessions. He has just four days of attendance in 218 days of 14 sessions. A complaint was also lodged against him for his regular absence with the Speaker

However, Ambareesh had reportedly blamed his absence on the air conditioning in the session hall. He had said that the air conditioning was making him fall sick quite often.
