New Delhi, Jan 12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that some people are trying to divide our country, but the youth is giving them a fitting reply to such elements as they can never ever be misled. Addressing an event through video conferencing in Belagavi, which was organised on the occasion of National Youth Day and Sarva Dharma Sabha,  PM Modi remembered Swami Vivekananda and stated that there was a lot of propaganda against India in the Western world that Swami Vivekananda proved wrong and raised his voice against social evils.

The Prime Minister also urged people to work and make Indian villages free from open defecation in next two years by creating awareness at their level.

“Let us work to make India free from open defecation” and make the visions of Swami Vivekanand real by achieving ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’,” Indian Express quoted PM as saying.

Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister had addressed the students of Gautam Buddha University in Greater Noida and advised youth of today to become job creators and think out of the box. Referring to those youth, planning to set up start-ups, PM said,”One had to make the beginning alone and if the person was committed to the path chosen, others would join him.”

“Do not worry. Move ahead, take the first step. The government is with you,” he had assured. Modi also asserted that they would not have to worry about bank guarantees, loans and a heavy paper work as they would get all the help from the Indian government.
