New Delhi, Oct 10: Millions of Snapchat users, particularly in the US and Europe region, were left outraged after the addictive photo-sharing app crashed briefly on Monday night. A day later, the company accepted the reports of the outage, attributing it to a technical glitch.

App monitoring website Down Detector reported the disruption of Snapchat services late last night, after the users fumed on another social networking site Twitter. According to a report in the Evening Standard, Snapchat users faced brief disruption in sending snaps, receiving notifications and logging into their account.

Reacting to the tweets of the anguished Snapchat users, the company posted an acknowledgement message on its Twitter page, adding that its team is working towards resolving the technical glitch.
