The San Bruno police responded to an active shooter at the YoutTube offices in San Bruno, California. The shooting incident wounded three people. Over 1700 people work out of YouTube offices. The San Bruno Police tweeted,” We are responding to an active shooter. Please stay away from Cherry Ave & Bay Hill Drive.

The Google, which owns Youtube also tweeted about the shooting incident, saying ” YouTube situation, we are coordinating with authorities and will provide official information here from Google and YouTube as it becomes available.

Thr authorities in San Bruno have issued an advisory for people to keep away from the area while police are responding to the active shooter. Several employees have been evacuated from the large campus which is just outside San Francisco. Meanwhile, San Francisco General Hospital has reportedly received several victims from the shooting incident but numbers of injuries or fatalities are yet to be confirmed.

Vadim Lavrusik, who was working at the campus tweeted, Active shooter at YouTube HQ. Heard shots and saw people running while at my desk. Now barricaded inside a room with coworkers.

The woman suspect reportedly killed herself.
