New Delhi, August 21: The Chinese media has released yet another anti-India video, days after its racist ‘7 Sins’ video. The latest video released by China’s official news agency Xinhua, says it was India that violated the border and not its People’s Liberation Army. The video says, “On June 18, Indian troops carrying weapons and driving two bulldozers crossed the Sikkim sector and entered Chinese territory. It obstructed Chinese road works in the region causing a standoff between the two sides.”

The video, part of a ‘Talk India’ programme, calls for India to ‘remain sober’. “It (India) should remain sober and guard against any future poor judgement…Any spiral into some kind of hostile rivalry could be disastrous,” says the video.

Even as the video calls India one of the ‘world’s oldest civilisations’, it does so with a veiled attack on the country. “India and China are two of the world’s oldest civilisations with time honoured histories and brilliant cultures. They are not born rivals. Contact between the two countries stretch back to ancient times. Which is why India should immediately and unconditionally withdraw all troops from Chinese territory,” the video says.

The new anti-India video comes days after the Chinese media had put out a racist video attacking India. The video named ‘7 Sins of India: It’s time for India to confess its seven sins’ featured a man with beard and turban representing India. Signifying that everyone is blaming India for the standoff, the man coud be seen saying, “Nobody is blaming me because I am asleep”.
