Maryland, Mar 20: At least two students were injured in a shooting reported at Great Mills High School in Maryland. The school is on lockdown, St. Mary’s County, Md. Public Schools informed on Twitter. The authorities have said that the situation has been “contained”. The shooter was confirmed dead at a local hospital, ANI informed.

“There has been a Shooting at Great Mills High School. The school is on lock down the event is contained, the Sheriff’s office is on the scene additional information to follow. Parents/Guardians should go to Leonardtown HS for reunification with GMHS students,” the tweet read.

The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office also confirmed that they are at the incident site and urged all the parents to reunite with their wards at another school. “There has been an incident at Great Mills High School. Parents please DO NOT respond to the school. Report to Leonardtown High School,” the tweet read.
