Makers of 102 Not out had been generating enough curiosity with their out of the box, quirky posters, and a hilarious teaser, featuring Amitabh Bachchan as the 102-year-old happy-go-lucky father and Rishi Kapoor as the 75-year-old sad and depressed son, few months ago. And today, they have unveiled the much-awaited trailer and, needless to say, we can’t stop smiling at this 2 minute 53 second long video of , what may be, this year’s best slice of life comedy. The trailer is packed with witty dialogues, which is only making us eager for the film’s release on May 4, 2018.

In the trailer, Sr Bachchan is seen as an energetic person bursting with optimism, where as his on screen son, Rishi Kapoor, is a boring, pessimistic and angry old man. The trailer gives us a glimpse of an unusual father-son relationship that will for sure leave you in splits. The video begins with Amitabh Bachchan telling Rishi Kapoor that he wants to become the oldest person alive. While everyone has their doubts, he is confident that he’ll be able to achieve this feat, given his fit and active demeanor.

We absolutely love his quirky, naughty and childlike excitement towards everything in life. He wants his son to write a love letter to his wife as he feels he is too boring and can’t do anything. The highlight of it is when he calls himself as the first father to send his son to an old age home. Yes, you read right. Their banter is absolutely adorable and we bet that it will make you laugh. However, we fail to understand, why Amitabh, all of a sudden loses all hope and becomes sad. Guess we will have to watch the film for that. It also features actor Jimit Trivedi in a pivotal role. We will also get to see Bachchan and Kapoor share screen space, 27 years after their last film together with this film. Not just that, this is the first time, they will be seen sharing a father-son relationship on screen.
