Aamir Khan is excited for Thugs of Hindostan, primarily because the film will have him share screen space with his childhood hero, Amitabh Bachchan. The duo has been shooting the last leg of the film in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Aamir is celebrating his 53rd birthday today in Mumbai with close friends and family. He held a press conference to speak to his fans about turning a year older, his upcoming film, his much awaited and talked about debut on Instagram and much more.
Yesterday, Amitabh Bachchan had taken ill on the sets of his film in Jodhpur. A team of doctors were called to check on him. They put him on rest and were to take a decision on his return to the sets or to Mumbai for further tests and rest last evening. However, later reports suggested that the actor was stable and fit to get back on the sets of the film. Today at the press conference, Aamir was asked about his health, to which he revealed that he was in a much better condition. “But kabhi kabhi thodisi takleef bhi hoti hai. Shoulder mein unko injury hai, back mein injury hai. Parso raat ko jyada takleef thi but he is better now. (But sometimes, there is some uneasiness. He has a shoulder and back injury. He wasn’t feeling well a day before yesterday, but he is fine now.),” he said.
He also spoke about Big B’s role in the film. He said, “Action bhi bahot hai Amit Ji ka. Bahot saalon baad I think aap log Amit Ji ko action karte dekhenge. Definitely, it’s a challenging film for him and he is coping very well with it. (Amit Ji has to do a lot of action scenes. I think after many years you all will be seeing him doing action. It is definitely a challenging film for him and he is coping very well with it.)” Furthermore, he revealed that the two of them shot a scene together yesterday. Well, we certainly cannot wait to see the two create magic on screen. What about you?
