Akshay Kumar, Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor starrer PadMan is one of the most awaited Bollywood films of 2018. The film was to release on January 25, 2018, the same date as Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh starrer Padmaavat’s but on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s request, Akshay decided to move his film to February 9, 2018 as to avoid a clash with the controversial film Padmaavat.

It was a good decision on Akshay’s part since it wouldn’t have been beneficial for anyone if two big films release on the same date. However, PadMan will hit the silver screen next week with Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee’s Aiyaary. Let’s wait and watch to see who wins the box office race.
