Varun Dhawan has proven himself a box office ace after the back to back successes of all his films, especially his previous film Judwaa 2 alongside Taapsee Pannu, and Jacqueline Fernandez. The actor is on the ninth cloud with his last film which was soaring in the box office despite average reviews. Establishing himself as an actor who can very well carry a film by himself, the actor has apparently decided to hike his prices for his services. And not just hike, rather double them.
Varun’s price has not only doubled for the filmmakers, but also for the brands who want to sign him. Though Varun already has a few brands signed up for, the real problem arose when newer brands came to sign him up. They realised that the Badlapur actor has not only just hiked his price, but doubled it, which meant an enormous amount. Speaking about it to The Asian Age, a source reveals, “At first, brands didn’t take the new price seriously since it was twice as much as his previous fee. Now, a couple of brand teams are having second thoughts on signing him up. Varun’s management is now talking to the actor to quote a right price so that he doesn’t not lose out.” ALSO READ: Delhi Smog: Schedules Of Arjun Kapoor – Parineeti Chopra’s Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar And Varun Dhawan’s October Affected
