Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan had been shooting in Jodhpur, Rajasthan for Thugs Of Hindostan when he complained of feeling unwell. A team of doctors rushed from Mumbai to the sets this morning to attend to the 75-year-old star. According to sources, Big B’s health has improved but he is kept under observation and the doctors will do a few tests in the evening as well to make sure if he is ready to go back to set or needs rest. A chartered plane is parked in Jodhpur to bring Bachchan back home in Mumbai if at all the doctors feel he requires further medical help.
The final call will be taken this evening. The actor has a few more films in the pipeline but he had only started shooting for Thugs, and had devoted a few days to the preps of Brahmastra. He had also recorded a rap song ‘Badumba’ for his upcoming film ‘102 Not Out’ and fans had loved Big B’s energy and punk in the track. Talking about his film Thugs Of Hindostan, Komal Nahata spoke to Zee Media and revealed, “Major portion of the film has already been shot and the remaining will be completed in a few days time in this ongoing schedule. The film is being made on a whopping budget of approximately Rs 125 crores. Since Mr Bachchan is feeling better now, he might decide to complete his part of the shoot before returning to Mumbai.”
He also said that Big B’s fans are get restless and worried for him if he suffers even a minor ailment and that’s why all have been waiting anxiously to know updates regarding his health.
According to initial reports, Bachchan started feeling unwell while on the sets of Thugs Of Hindostan. He has been resting at his hotel, under observation his doctors, led by renowned gastroenterologist Jayant Barve. Media is not allowed in the vicinity. The film’s crew, comprising Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh had been shooting for the film at the historic Mehrangarh the past few days. The film is being directed by ‘Dhoom 3’ fame Vijay Krishna Acharya and slated for a Diwali 2018 release.
