Rising Bollywood star Arjun Kapoor has pushed aside Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan to become the new brand ambassador for denim brand Flying Machine. Abhishek and Virat have endorsed the brand in succession earlier.

The Indian casual clothing brand from the Arvind Lifestyle Brands stable has survived many summers and is popular among the youth. It is also known for wacky advertisements, especially the ones starring our swashbuckling Indian cricket vice-captain.

Flying Machine will soon shoot a print campaign and an ad film with Arjun to showcase the latest Spring Summer collection of the brand. We hope that turns out to be wacky as well!

Arjun said in a statement, “I’ve always believed style is a way to say who you are without having to speak. It’s reflected across all the choices I’ve made be it films, events or otherwise. Flying Machine has historically spoken volumes be it with their trendy clothes or their stylish campaigns. I’m super-excited to be taking over as their new brand ambassador and with their trippy new campaign; I’m hoping we are able to really define ‘The New Cool’. Here’s looking at an exciting new ride!”

It seems like Arjun, who will be seen in the movie 2 States with Alia Bhatt, is the new darling of the endorsement world. He also campaigned for Earth Hour 2014 held on March 29. And why not? A little pocket money on the side is always good, right?
