The makers of Baaghi 2 have some unwavering confidence in their lead man Tiger Shroff. The film is the actor’s widest release with 3500 screens across India. Director Ahmed Khan and producer Sajid Nadidawala definitely feel that the young sensation has it what it takes to attract masses. Not just this, they are so kicked about the franchise, that after bringing out a sequel in just two years (Baaghi release in 2016), they have already announced Baaghi 3.
Interestingly, while the film has released today to mixed reviews, the makers want to cast Tiger Shroff again in the third part of the film, albeit with a new heroine. Yes, Disha Patani may not be part of Baaghi 3. What makes us say so is a statement from the producer, wherein he announced that he will come out with the name of the female lead for Baaghi 3 soon. “Writing of ‘Baaghi 3’ is still in process and within a month, we will come to know and then we will announce it (name of the leading lady).”
What makes this strange is that there were reports of Disha being part of Baaghi 3 as well. But looks like the actress will really have to earn it, while Tiger is already on board. The makers are already sure that their main man will make Baaghi 2 a success, “Actually, I announced it before trailer of ‘Baaghi 2’ to my team. I wanted to give confidence before releasing ‘Baaghi 2’ to the director and the whole acting team and I am sure that the audience will like ‘Baaghi 2’ and help us to make part three,” said Saijid at the film’s special screening held on Wednesday night in PVR Juhu, Mumbai.
Director Ahmed Khan was also hopeful that audience would like the film, “I am feeling happy, scared and hopeful for the film. It’s a film which audience would love to see. It has lot of action with a good story backing it, so I don’t think anyone will be disappointed.” Baaghi 2 is presented by Fox Star Studios.
