Eid al-Adha also known as Eid Bakr Eid or Bakra Eid will be celebrated on September 13, 2016, in India. It is the time of festivity and feast and also prayer and abstinence, as people go on a pilgrimage to Mecca. Hajj 2016 has already begun and the mood is solemn as well as joyous, as festival of Bakra Eid 2016 approaches. It will be celebrated on September 12 in Saudi Arabia and thereafter in India and other parts of the world.

On the occasion of Bakra Eid celebration in India, some soulful songs from Bollywood movies are always played, like Piya Haji Ali, Khwaja Mere Khwaja, Arziyan and some more. Wallah Re Wallah from Tees Maar Khan is a peppy song and better visually, as it stars Katrina Kaif, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar.

6. Eid Mubarak…Eid Ke Din Gale Mil Le Raja – Teesri Aankh

The classic song Eid Ke Din Mil Re Raja from the movie Teesri Aankh, starring Dharmendra and Shatrughan Sinha, shows the camaraderie or bhaichara that signifies Eid. It’s a peppy number with music from the 1980s.

7. Khwaja Mere Khwaja Jodhaa Akbar

This Eid song by Sonu Nigam is still popular, but that’s not just because of the singer but also the lead actor Salman Khan!
