On a day when the first ever season of Bigg Boss Marathi premiered on Television, we heard one more announcement about the controversial reality show. The Hindi Bigg Boss, now in its 12th season is all set to come back and rule our TV screens. The auditions are now open and there is a very interesting twist this time. This time. the Bigg Boss 12 house doors will open not for individual contestants but for jodis. The announcement was made at the finale episode of Rising Star 2 2018, where Mathura’s Hemant Brijwasi was declared the winner.

The show has seen a lots of ups and downs when it comes to content, controversies and TRPs. However, the last season saw a major dip in viewership on and off and perhaps that’s the reason why the makers have decided to come up with a new interesting format where jodis will enter the show. Another major question that every fan wants answered is if after Bigg Boss 11, Salman Khan will return as the host for Bigg Boss 12 as well. Let us tell you that the Tiger Zinda Hai and Race 3 star is most likely to return as the host.

If you may recall, the actor had confirmed that he will be back on the show as the host in the new season at the grand finale episode of Bigg Boss 11. He had also set a timeline and revealed that he will be back with Bigg Boss 12 in about 8 months, which makes it September – October. Another reason for us to believe that Salman will be back is that the channel Colors has been very impressed with the star, who always made it on time to shoot the Weekend ka Vaar episode, despite having other commitments for his film and endorsement. He had planned his schedule in a way to be available for the shoot of Bigg Boss 11 and over the years, he has only added the much needed star value a reality show needs to remain popular.

Apart from Bigg Boss 12,  Salman has game show Dus Ka Dum which is said to be premiering in June-July this year. The actor who is busy shooting the last leg of Race 3, is also slated to get on the sets of Bharat May-June onwards.
