It’s always a pleasure to watch your favourite Bollywood stars singing for them. Be it Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan or Priyanka Chopra. Many notable actors, over the years have sung for their films.  Take a look at this list to make sure that your favourite star has made it to the list.

Amitabh Bachchan

Amitabh Bachchan has sung a lot of hit songs, be it in the 80s or now. Songs like, ‘Mere angne mein, tumhara kya kaam hai,’ ‘Rang barse, bhige chunarwali,’ were sung by him. He sung ‘Main yahan tu wahaan’ in Baghban which was a hit too.  K3G, Babul, BhoothNath, and Bol Bachchan are other movies in which he has used his voice to woo the audience.

Aamir Khan

Oh yes, Amir Khan, Mr. Perfect, had sung ‘Aati Kya Khandala’ in his fim, Ghulam. The song became an instant hit. ‘Ae kya bolti tu’ is still the fanciest line we hear among the youth.

Shahrukh Khan

You’ll be delighted to know that Shahrukh Khan (SRK) sang a song even before he did in Jab Tak Hai Jaan. But to everyone’s surprise he first sang, ‘Apun bola tu meri laila’ in his movie Josh (2000). It is rumoured that he’ll also be singing in his upcoming film Happy New Year.

Madhuri Dixit Nene

Not many know that Madhuri Dixit Nene, the Dhak-Dhak girl/ (dancing diva) of Bollywood also sang a song in her movie Devdas (2002). In her upcoming film ‘Gulaab Gang’ she’ll be singing along with her mother, Snehlata Dixit. It’ll be the first time for an actress to sing with her mother.

Abhishek Bachchan

Like father, like son. The Junior Bachchan sang a rap song, ‘Right Here Right Now’ in Bluffmaster (2005). He was also heard singing in Bol Bachchan along with his co-stars.

Farhan Akhtar

Touted as the most multi-talented guy in Bollywood, Farhan Akhtar has sung several songs in his movie, Rock On. Songs like ‘Meri laundry ka ek bill,’ ‘Tum ho toh,’ and ‘Rock On’ were a huge hit and they still, rock on!

Hrithik Roshan

It may well be a surprise for you to know that our Duggu sang, ‘Kites in the Sky’ in his movie Kites (2010). Although the film didn’t live up to its expectations, HR was applauded for his singing skills.

Abhay Deol

The most versatile Deol of the Deol family sang the heart-throbbing track, ‘Senorita,’ along with his co-stars in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011). The song topped every music listings that year.

Priyanka Chopra

The ‘Desi Girl’ of Bollywood sprang a huge surprise when she chose to sing an English song over an expected Hindi song, ‘In my city’ as her debut song. The song also featured a famous American rapper, Will.I.Am.

Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhatt, the dazzling diva of Bollywood, is the youngest member on the list. She’ll be singing ‘Sooha Saha’ in her upcoming movie Highway.
