Court accepts plea against showing Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan wearing shoes inside temple
Both Khans were shown inside a Kali temple on the sets of TV reality show 'Big Boss', which was broadcast by Colors channel in December last year.
Meerut, Jan. 16 : A Meerut Court on Saturday accepted the Hindu Mahasabha plea against Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan for allegedly wearing shoes inside a temple during a TV program. Both Khans were shown inside a Kali temple on the sets of TV reality show ‘Big Boss’, which was broadcast by Colors channel in December last year. “In India, whenever one enters a place of worship they have to take off their shoes. Shah Rukh Khanand Salman Khan aren’t above that,” Bharat Rajput, president of Hindu Mahasabha’s Meerut unit, told ANI. “We wrote to Colors Channel to edit the part where they show it but they didn’t. We will take this issue forward in public,” he added. The hearing in this case will be held on January 18, and Rajput has been asked to be present in the court.
