Ek Villain: 5 reasons that makes the movie worth a watch!

This Friday will see the release of the most anticipated movie of the month, Ek Villain. It stars Sidharth Malhotra and Shradhha Kapoor and is directed by Mohit Suri. This is first big release for Shraddha Kapoor after the stupendous success of Suri directed Aashiqui 2. It is also the first time that Reteish Deshmukh will be seen in a character with grey shades.

Music and songs will surely top the list, if someone is asked why he/she will watch Ek Villain. After the huge success of Aashiqui 2, music director Mithoon is back with some more soulful songs. Ek Villain’s album has received positive reviews from everywhere. With songs like Teri Galiyaan, Banjaara, and Awari ruling the lists, it also has soul touching songs like Humdard and Zaroorat. Pakistani band ‘Soch’ was roped in by the music director for the song ‘Awari’ in the movie. After Aashiqui 2, this may be the first album to garner such positive reviews. Singers like Ankit Tiwari (Galiyan), Arijit Singh (Humdard), Mohammad Irfan (Banjaara), Mustafa Zahid (Zaroorat), and Adnan Dhool (Awari) have lent their voice to the album.

Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor have been the talk of the town, with the trailer launch of the movie. They have shown some real chemistry in the trailer and now are in the eye of almost every big producers and directors. Both Malhotra and Kapoor are expecting another hit after their previous successful movies.

Director Mohit Suri tops the list of directors when it comes to a romantic movie. His previous Aashiqui 2 collected ten times its budget at the box office grossing over Rs 100 crore, and was accepted very well worldwide. Mohit Suri is back with another love story. But this time he has added some thrill to it. It would be definitely worth a watch to see how Suri balances both the genres. One of his previous movie ‘Awarapan’ was also a romantic thriller and was critically acclaimed.

 4. Riteish Deshmukh as a villain:

Known for his impeccable comic timing Riteish Deshmukh is trying something new with Ek Villain. In the trailer he is portrayed as an antagonist. Apart from the leads his performance is also something to look forward to. He has been compared with Shahrukh Khan of ‘Darr’ but will have to wait and see how he portrays the character.

 5. The thrilling plot:

The trailer of the movie has created excitement among the viewers. The team of ‘Ek Villain’ is claiming that there are no heroes in the movie and all are villains. With this, the thrill element in the mind of the viewers is at its peak. The movie is inspired from the Korean movie ‘I Saw the Devil.’
