Ever since Kapil Sharma‘s show was taken off air, fans had been waiting with bated breath to see their favourite comedian on screen once again. Well, we have some good news for all these ardent fans. The comedian-turned-actor/director is coming back to take over our television screens with his new show. The comedian took to his Instagram account to share the title and the first look of the show. Called ”Family Time With Kapil’ , the show is reportedly going to be on a completely new concept, unlike his previous two shows, ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ and ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, which were a huge success.

The Times Of India has reported that the show will comprise his original team of Chandan Prabhakar, Kiku Sarda, Sumona Chakravarti and the like. As per reports, Kapil will be seen playing fun games and activities with families in the show. Family Time with Kapil Sharma is expected to go on air in March. A few days ago, Sony Entertainment Television’s social media handles shared the promo along with the caption, “Laut kar aaraha hai Kapil sharma Sony Entertainment Television par, kuch alag lekar. Iss baar hasi ke alaava kuch aur bhi hai jo jayega dekar. Kya, kab aur kaise? Jaanne ke liye dekhte rahiye Sony Entertainment Television. (Kapil Sharma is coming back on Sony Entertainment Television with something new. This time he will share something more than laughter. To know what, when and how keep watching Sony Entertainment Television.) In the promo, Kapil is seen indulging in self deprecating humour–taking a dig at his unemployment. Trust only Kapil to use himself as content to make people laugh.

Kapil Sharma is touted to be one of the leading comedians in the industry today. The Kapil Sharma Show, was a favourite among the audiences till reports of his fallout with colleague Sunil Grover, his frequent health issues, and his addiction to alcohol led to its sudden closure. In the meantime, Kapil was also seen in his film Firangi, which tanked at the Box Office. While 2017 was quite unlucky for the actor, let’s hope that 2018 brings with it a lot of luck and good fortune for the comedian.
