George Clooney joins the list of ridiculously expensive celebrity proposals!

American actor and film – maker, George Clooney recently spent around $750,000 behind his soon – to – be wife’s engagement ring. The actor who just turned 52 had reportedly whisked off his lawyer girlfriend by making a home – cooked meal and presenting her with a seven – carat diamond ring.

By doing so the Ocean’s Eleven actor has undoubtedly joined the A – listing proposals of Hollywood. Take a look at some of the other celebrity couples who do not hesitate to spend lavishly behind their loved ones:-

Kanye West

Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian on her 33rd birthday. The rapper had reportedly rented AT&T Park for the occasion and had a 50-piece orchestra play Lana Del Rey’s “Young and Beautiful” before playing his own hit song “Knock Me Down.” After the performance, the words “PLEEEASE MARRY MEEEE!!!!” appeared on the scoreboard screen, and West bent down on one knee in front of Kardashian. There were fireworks after Kim said yes and her family came out of dugouts to celebrate the moment with her.

Seal Klum

Seal Klum proposed to Heidi on 23rd December, 2014 in a quinzee (igloo) he had built in Whistler, British Columbia. He had taken her there in a helicopter and made all the arrangements of food, champagne etc available. Heidi had said that she was ecstatic. Who wouldn’t be?
