Golden Kela Awards 2014 winners’ list: Aamir Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Shahid Kapoor & Ajay Devgn adjudged the worst!
Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez, Ameesha Patel and Aditya Roy Kapur also won the Golden Kela 2014 award.
The 6th Annual Golden Kela Awards were held in New Delhi on March 29 to honour the worst of Bollywood films, music and performances in 2013. The Worst Film award went to Himmatwala, while the film’s lead star Ajay Devgn won the Worst Actor (Male) award. Sonakshi Sinha was adjudged the the Worst Actress award for R…Rajkumar.
Shahid Kapoor got the Why Are You Still Trying award for R…Rajkumar, competing with the likes of Preity Zinta, Vivek Oberoi, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Jackky Bhagnani!
Himmatwala also won the RGV Ki Aag Award for the Most Pointless Remake/Sequel. But surprisingly, the Worst Director award did not go to its director Sajid Khan, but to Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela.
Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez and Ameesha Patel jointly won the Worst Supporting Actor (Female) award for Race 2. While the Worst Supporting Actor (Male) award went to Aditya Roy Kapur for Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
Aamir Khan received a special recognition – titled Baawra Ho Gaya Hai Ke Award – for Dhoom 3.
Tennis star Leander Paes was ‘honoured’ with the Worst Debut of the Year award for Rajdhani Express.
The Most Irritating Song award went to Party All Night from Akshay Kumar’s movie Boss, while the Most Atrocious Lyrics award was given to veteran lyricist Sameer for Krrish 3 song Raghupati Raghav.
The organisers also gave away the Anti-Kela Awards to films from Bollywood they liked. The winners include Go Goa Gone, Saheb Biwi aur Gangster Returns, and The Lunchbox.
