Bengali actress, Paoli Dam, made headlines when her Bollywood debut film Hate Story released. The film showed the actress in a bold avatar. Well, the actress is in news lately and no it’s not for a movie. Well, she tied the knot with her longtime beau, Arjun Deb, on Monday, December 4 2017 in a traditional Bengali ceremony with only her family and close friends in attendance. The couple had been dating for over two years now and it was only natural for them to take their relationship to the next level. Arjun is a restaurateur and the two met at a party following which they soon started dating. Reports indicate that Paoli was in Delhi shooting for her next film Halka with Ranvir Shorey, when she met up with Arjun’s sister and fixed up the date.

Dressed in a traditional Bengali meenakari red Benarasi sari, Paoli looked like one gorgeous bride. She completed the look with traditional golden jewelry which was passed on to her from generations together. The couple had a typical Bengali wedding. The wedding will now be followed with a reception in Guwahati, which happens to be where her in-laws stay. Paoli has reportedly announced that she won’t be quitting her acting career post her wedding and it seems Arjun is very supportive of her call. Meanwhile, on the professional front, Paoli was last seen in the Bengali TV show, Mahanayak, which was based on the life of Tollywood superstar Uttam Kumar. She essayed the role of the popular Bengali actress Suchitra Sen, one of the most prominent and notable actresses in the Bengali film industry. At one point of time, she was also the love interest of his life.
