Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been in the news recently for not being in the best of health. The news broke out after he took to his blog to hint at his poor health. He wrote, “I am getting my team of Doctors in tomorrow morning to fiddle around with my body and set me up again .. i will rest and keep informed in process ..”. Reportedly, Amitabh Bachchan had taken ill on the sets of Thugs of Hindostan in Jodhpur. However, the actor has resumed shooting for the film after he got a go-ahead from the doctors.
Just yesterday, a picture surfaced online, which everyone thought to be the first look of Big B from Amir Khan’s film Thugs of Hindostan. Many media outlets reported (on Tuesday night) that the image is of Big B, in what they say appears to be a leaked, behind-the-scenes photograph from the set of Thugs of Hindostan.
Well, the reports are not true and it is not the actor’s look from the film. Here’s what the image is. It is a stunning portrait of an Afghan refugee, which was captured by famed photographer Steve McCurry, who originally shared this image on his Instagram account on January 27, 2017. He had also captioned the image as, “I made this portrait of Shabuz, age 68, an Afghan refugee in Pakistan. Many Afghans use only one name.” McCurry shot to international fame with his National Geographic cover of June 1985, which used an image called The Afghan Girl.
