Television’s heartthrob Kunal Jaisingh, who shot to fame for playing the role of Ranveer in the popular show ‘The Buddy Project’ on Channel V and is best known for essaying the character Omkara in much-celebrated show Ishqbaaaz, recently, took to Instagram to call out a person, who made a fake casting call claiming to be from Karan Johar’s production house, Dharma Productions. Reportedly, the person claiming to be from Karan Johar’s production house offered a film to Kunal and his co-star (and on-screen brother) Leenesh Mattoo.
However, the actors caught his bluff on time. Kunal, in a statement, said he feels bad for the people who indulge in such type of activities. Kunal further added, “I feel bad for the person who did this. I never divulge over such things but this stint was very funny. The industry should get rid of these kinds of people because they malign the reputation of people who are genuine in the industry.” Both Kunal and Leenesh, who are seen in Star Plus’ Ishqbaaaz that recently completed 500 episodes, are currently busy absorbing all the love coming their way with the show’s popularity growing by leaps and bounds. On the personal front, Kunal recently got engaged to The Buddy Project actress (his longtime girlfriend) Bharati Kumar, in Mumbai on March 18. The couple exchanged rings amidst close family and friends at the ISKON temple in Juhu. Talking about it, Kunal stated to a leading daily, “I am happy that my parents agreed to our match. I have always wanted to settle down with a girl like Bharti… she is homely, genuine, humble and respects elders. These are qualities that are difficult to find in today’s women.” Watch this space for further updates.
