Last week, the latest adaption of Stephen King’s It was released in cinemas. And it has outdone the worldwide box office collections of Indian films like Prabhas-Rana Daggubatti starrer Baahubali 2 and Aamir Khan’s Dangal in just three days. We know that Baahubali 2 and Dangal both made huge amount of money. While the SS Rajamouli directorial managed to earn almost Rs 1800 crore at the world wide box office, Dangal made close to Rs 2000 crore. And It has raked in more than Rs 1000 crore, and mind you in just three days. Commendable, right?

It follows the story of seven young kids growing up in the township of Derry, Maine. They call themselves the Losers’ Club. Each of them have gone or are going through something terrible in their lives, plus there is a local pack of bullies making their lives even more miserable. Amidst all this, they see their inner fears come to life in the form of an ancient shape-shifting predator and our clown called ‘It’. How they all defeat him forms the rest of the plot. The film stars Bill Skarsgard as the central character, Pennywise – The Dancing Clown. Jaeden Lieberher, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Ophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard and Jackson Robert Scott form the ensemble cast of young actors.
