When the teaser of Saif Ali Khan‘s upcoming dark comedy, Kaalaakandi released in July this year, fans were left intrigued seeing the actor decked up as a hawk with hair tied in several tiny ponytails, looking serious while standing in what seemed like an elevator. Whoever saw the teaser felt that the actor resembled Michael Keaton from Birdman, which only further increased their excitement levels for the film’s trailer. Today the movie’s trailer is finally out, after a never-ending wait, and boy are we left stunned! In the film, Saif has been detected with stomach cancer and is told to live it up as he has very little time left. Thereafter, begins a fun-filled night which has the non-druggie, non-smoker try out everything in just one day. His life collides with that of other interesting characters in a tale of one night. The trailer is a must watch thanks to some crazy and intense performances by Saif and the star cast, some amazing dialogues, murder, lust and everything in between.

Saif’s last two films, Rangoon and Chef didn’t do well at the Box Office, which reportedly led the actor to give inputs for the final trailer that released today. Given that the teaser had created quite a lot of buzz upon its release, Saif did not want his fans to be disappointed with the trailer. Well, disappointment definitely doesn’t come up in our vocabulary when we see this trailer. Don’t you agree? The film was to earlier release on September 8 but due to some last minute edit changes and issues with the CBFC, the film got delayed. Moreover, there were rumours doing the rounds that the makers were looking for a Netflix release instead of a theatre one, which left Saif miffed. Anyway, here’s the trailer, which is everything and more than what you had expected.
